Radu Jecan

Dr. Cristian Radu Jecan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca in 1992. He followed the residency in plastic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in Bucharest, until 1998, after which he followed his academic career at the University of Medicine and Carol Davila Pharmacy. He gradually went through all the stages of academic promotion, being a University Professor from 2021. He was President of the Association of Plastic Surgeons in Romania between 2019-2022 and heads the specialized commission in the Ministry of Health. He is the Head of the Plastic Surgery Clinic at the “prof dr Agrippa Ionescu” Emergency Clinical Hospital Bucharest, where he also held numerous administrative positions. He participated in numerous scientific events in the country and abroad, with numerous paperworks and invited presentations. The main areas of clinical interest are in the field of malignant skin tumors, breast reconstruction after oncological diseases, flaps and aesthetic surgery.
